More About Mothorn - engine sound for EV

Mothorn app is an Acoustic Vehicle Alert System (AVAS). Due to a specially designed GPS speed tracker, Mothorn modulates a warning sound creating a perception of speed changes in real time. This is necessary in order to warn pedestrians
about their approach and to improve safety on the roads.

Mothorn app is designed for drivers of electric vehicles, such as electric bikes, electric scooters, electric skateboards and electric unicycles (EUC), electric motorcycles etc.

No internet required to use the app.

Disable all battery restrictions in android background settings for Mothorn app. This is necessary for the GPS to work correctly when the screen is off.

For full use Mothorn, connect the portable speaker to your smartphone.

Synthorn - a software synthesizer that generates the warning sounds of engines from famous science fiction films. It allows you to choose your own musical harmonies of the sound of your silent engine on the virtual piano keyboard.

Samplehorn - is a collection of well-known warning sounds, such as cars, motorcycles, running horse, submarine sonar and many others.

Voicehorn - allows you to record voice or any other warning sound through a smartphone microphone and then modulate it. You can create and use your own customized sounds to simulate the artificial warning sound of your vehicle's engine.

"Always on" function allows you to use the synthesizer simultaneously with two other sound modules.

Mothorn works in two different modes: cycling mode and car mode. Unlike cycling mode, where you need to independently set the approximate maximum speed of your vehicle, in car mode, the sound of the engine is turned on only at low speeds: up to 19 miles per hour and up to 19 kilometers per hour, depending of the difference between the US and European standards for sounding electric cars.

Use Mothorn app, create your own customized warning sounds for your electric vehicles and keep safety on the road.
